How to get the most from your personal training session.


When you make the decision to invest in a personal trainer. Remember these few things and you should be on your way to success.

•SHOW UP!

If you never show to a session, how do you expect to get anything out of it. That’s like paying for school but never going and still expecting a Diploma.

•STAY ACTIVE.

Yes, I want to have some conversations with you. You can catch me up on everything that is happening in your life and maybe even your cat’s life too. However, this is time you paid to workout. So get moving while you talk.

•LISTEN & LEARN.

I want you to tell me how you are feeling and give me feedback. I also don’t want you to get hurt so let me be the expert for the most part. Sometimes we can try a few things you read in a magazine for fun. But if it’s something I’m not comfortable with, you shouldn’t be ether. I also want you to own movements so down the road you only need me because of motivation, inspiration, and to keep your form clean when you get tired.

•HAVE FUN.

If you aren’t having fun when you come to workout you will eventually get sick of doing it. Some of us love lifting heavy things more than others but it should never be a “I have to go to the gym” thing. The goal is to have it an enjoyable experience. “I get to go to the gym.” Is where I hope all my clients end up.
